    It stands 7 inches tall and costs $23.28 each, so instructors can reward many students in a single promotion. Tournament organizers use it for kata and sparring placements across age divisions. Studios hand it out for student of the month, perfect attendance and black belt milestones. The karate design is sculpted in, and the plate holds the student's name, rank or achievement, the school and the date.
